Same here! I get digimon games I used to play still because of how important they were to me.

That’s awesome!! I have the trading cards and then one game on the DS, so I don’t have that many games —but I do have a purple D3 and a Palmon plushie <3 Also cell phone charms.

Odaiba Day: An Adventure have began for both man and Digimon. It may have ended long ago, but the Journey still continues.

It’s really difficult to pick a favorite character in Digimon, but Matt was always at the top for me. He may not have been the leader, but he always put the others first, especially his brother. Each of the digi-destined had their faults, but that’s what made them so human. Matt wasn’t perfect; he struggled with his inner demons, but he came out of it. He fought beside his friends and against them, that only made their bonds stronger. He wasn’t afraid to throw a punch and fight for what he believed in. As a child, I really admired Matt. Now, 15 years later, I get to “be” my role model through cosplay.

I chose to celebrate Odaiba Memorial Day by drawing crying children.

Wow, you are totally awesome. I did the same stuff with my cousin as a kid!

You and your cousin knew how to live! Digimon had a major, and lasting, effect on my life. It’s comforting to me to know that others “lived” the experience, too, even if it was all pretend.

All the Digimon posts are making me feel very nostalgic and that’s making me sad. It’s been 15 years. Wow. I remember getting off the school bus after school and making a b-line for the tv so I could tune in to Fox Kids to watch Digimon. Then my brother and I would go out and play pretend Digimon in the back yard.

I made up my own Digimon named Osomon. She looked like a bear (because bears are my favorite). We would go exploring together and save the worlds. It was great. I really miss being a kid. I really miss my Digimon partner.

I am half-tempted to wear my Matt cosplay tomorrow instead of Tamaki for Digimon’s Anniversary, but then I couldn’t mark “meeting Vic in my Tamaki cosplay” off my bucket list yet.

So guess who decided to rock out her hair in cosplay? Me~
I WANTED TO BE MATT AGAIN SO BADLY BUT ALL MY DIGIMON FRIENDS ARE EITHER TOO DISTRACTED WITH OTHER FANDOMS OR HAVE MOVED TO SOUTH KOREA. I really am the lone wolf…

"Wait. We haven't exchanged email addresses yet..."

triptone:

Last night my little sister (5th grade) was making an e-mail account

She saw gender and went to click female when she noticed the “other” choice

She looked at me confused and I started to explain that some people don’t think they fit in with strictly male or female

"Oh! You mean like transgender and stuff like that. I was freaked out for a second- I thought they meant robots."

Yet another example the kids are more open-minded than adults
